Christmas Assistance Program

Hobart City Mission’s Christmas Assistance Program applications are now open.

Hobart City Mission (HCM)’s Christmas Assistance Program provides assistance to people who are experiencing hardship in Southern Tasmania over the Christmas period.

Due to limited funding, there are only a certain number of appointments available. While submitting an application does not guarantee assistance, it’s important to get applications in early for the best chance to access the program.

Last year HCM helped over 800 families who needed extra assistance at this busy and challenging time of year. Assistance includes food vouchers and, if eligible, toys for children, hampers and other available items.

Date notified if successful – 1 December onwards
Collection dates – Wed 15, Thurs 16, Fri 17 December
Collection location – City Mission Op Shops Moonah Clothing, 15 Main Rd Moonah
Assistance provided by appointment only
