Applications for Hobart City Mission’s Christmas Assistance Program are now being accepted.
Please visit our offices to apply:
Hobart – 50 Barrack St. Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm
Moonah – 11 Main Road Moonah. Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 8.30am-5.00pm (closed between 1-2pm)
Applications are assessed on disposable income and do not entitle you to automatic assistance.
You must apply in person at a HCM office, and:
- Fill the form out completely – if you need assistance please ask office staff
- Attach Centrelink Income Statement and/or pay slips for all household members receiving an income
HCM’s Christmas Assistance Program support may include:
- Woolworths Essentials Card (value based on your household size)
- Gifts/Toys for your children under 15 years, as chosen by you
- Food hampers
Applications close December 8th.
You will be notified via mail whether or not your application has been approved. If approved you will be given a day and time to collect your voucher, and if eligible, toys for your children.
The Christmas Assistance program is only possible through the generosity of the community.
