It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to temporarily close all City Mission Op Shops until further notice.
Hobart City Mission and City Mission Op Shops ethos is around supporting those most vulnerable in our community. Many of our volunteers are among the most vulnerable to the effects of coronavirus, so in order to keep them and the rest of the community safe, we have decided to take this action.
The safety of our volunteers, customers and staff is most important to us and something we will not compromise on.
We are currently unsure of how long our stores will be closed for, and will let you know as soon as it is safe for us to reopen.
We know a lot of our wonderful friends are eager to still support us during this time. With this in mind, we will continue to collect donations of non-perishable food items from our Hobart and Moonah offices from 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Clothing and bric-a-brac donations can still be dropped to our Sorting Warehouse at Brownells Lane (off Main Rd, Moonah) between 8.30am – 4.30pm. Please do not leave donations at our Op Shops while they are closed.
At this time City Mission Op Shops are closed until further notice, as we navigate this new territory. We thank you for your support and understanding in this decision.
