4lunch & the Athenaeum Club

Joe King from 4lunch drops off donations of readymade meals for people doing it tough.

Hobart City Mission have been receiving very generous frozen meal donations from both the team at 4lunch and the Athenaeum Club!

The ready-to-eat frozen meals are provided in labelled containers and can provide four meals per 1-litre container. These meals are now being provided in our Emergency Relief food packs, which have been very well received by those in need in our community.

4lunch have created a “Pay it 4ward” program, which enables locals to purchase a meal for Hobart City Mission, and then 4lunch generously match the donation by also donating a meal!

The Athenaeum Club are simply cooking meals to help out the most vulnerable in our community, from the goodness of their hearts.

Between both the Athenaeum Club and 4lunch we are able to provide around 100 meals per week for those who need it most in our community. Coming into the cooler Tasmanian months, these warm and hearty meals are certainly a very welcome addition to our Emergency Relief food packs.
